Give Key Stage 1 pupils a starting point for creative writing, using a video of the well-known tale of Red Riding Hood.
Red Riding Hood is on her way to her granny's house with a basket of food, when she encounters the woodcutter who warns her not to go into the forest. The video leaves the story at the point where she meets the wolf.
Use this lesson idea to tease out different versions of the story, enabling primary pupils to practise literacy skills by creating their own endings, either orally or in writing.
