Longfield School shows how integrating ICT, and an innovative approach to the curriculum, has helped improve GCSE results.
In five years, GCSE results have risen from 35 per cent of pupils obtaining five A* - C grades, to 78 per cent. The inspiration behind it has been a strategic use of ICT, which has gone hand in hand with curriculum innovation and leadership development.
Keith Cotgrave and the senior leadership team talk about the school's journey and the key role ICT has played in it.
They also discuss how to develop the strategic use of ICT, shows staff training sessions in ICT, the schools' learning portal, and examples of how this is used in the classroom.
