Aimed at teachers and schools leaders, this video looks at developing effective marking and feeedback strategies.
Richard Blake, lead science teacher at St Joseph's College in Swindon, explains how he has developed more effective marking strategies in his classroom for all year groups.
Richard also shows how he uses a "quality not quantity" approach, designed by assistant headteacher Ben Slater, with a Year 7 group.
The video includes practical tips on how to make marking relevant, immediate and timely, allowing teachers to pick up gaps in children's knowledge quickly, as well as reducing the burden of marking at home.
St Joseph's College uses this scheme in English, maths and science, and plans to roll it out across the curriculum.
