A secondary teacher uses learner profile passports with her mixed age tutor group of Key Stage 3 and 4 students, encouraging them to think about their personal learning style to boost learning.
Teacher Caroline Milkins gets pupils to complete their passports, which help them think about their own learning styles.
Are they inquirers, risk-takers, open-minded, reflective thinkers, creative thinkers and/or communicators? They then apply the analysis to improve their own learning.
The learner profile passport has been developed at the Merchants Academy in Bristol by Neil Tamlyn, academy director at Key Stage 3.
