Inclusive Online Homework

February 7, 2014 by Administrator

Find out how one secondary school is working to make online homework as inclusive as possible, in this advice-filled video on developing study skills in Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students.

Staff at Priory Community School, Weston Super Mare, are looking closely into inclusive online homework. Head of ICT, Tony Pound, is researching the school's effectiveness in communicating with parents, particularly online.

Tony works with staff to ensure that children from low income families who don't have access to a computer at home, are not left behind in their learning.

The video shows how the school ensures that this high-tech approach doesn't alienate parents from engaging with the school, and deals with the needs of children from low incomes families.
