Teachers meet the prominent mathematician, Professor Christopher Zeeman at the Royal Institution in London to talk about maths.
In 1979, Professor Christopher Zeeman was the first mathematician to deliver a Royal Institution annual Christmas Lecture. These lectures were the inspiration for the Royal Institution's present day "Maths Masterclasses" for schools.
Professor Zeeman, now aged 84, discusses the concepts of proof and play when studying maths, and how best to help pupils in the classroom.
The teachers debate on how prepared pupils would be to take on on board Christopher?s concepts and discuss ways that they could implement them into the classroom.
