Teachers show how they are updating the primary ICT curriculum to include new areas such as website design and programming.
At Two Mile Hill Junior School in Bristol, ICT coordinator Laura Hooper helps her colleague Sarah Webber teach website design to her Year 6 pupils.
Sarah uses a history module on the Victorians as the subject for her pupils' websites. The pupils make audio recordings of what they find out, and Laura shows Sarah how to upload audio recordings to a website. Together they show the pupils how to develop their own websites using their recordings.
At Hillfields Primary, Beccy Sherratt updates her teaching of programming and control by borrowing robotic cars from her local city learning centre. Her pupils programme them to follow various obstacle courses, or attach a pen to create patterns through programming.
