Year 2 children work in pairs to estimate the volume of water contained in different-sized bottles, at Cuffley School, Hertfordshire. In the playground they draw a chalk circle and estimate how much water will fill the circle. When they pour the water out into the circle they make some exciting discoveries and reach some interesting conclusions.
Meanwhile, a Year 3 teacher has 'turned herself' into a witch to encourage her class to measure different volumes of coloured potions accurately, in order to make a litre of their very own magic potion.
