A headteacher shows how staff at his school have taken on the challenge of the new Masters in Teaching qualification.
Teachers at Shenfield High School, Essex, work with the Institute of Education in London to devise their own research projects taken from their own practice and classroom experience.
Headteacher John Fairhurst also encourages staff to study areas related to the school's teaching and learning needs, as identified by Ofsted.
The teachers taking part in the project talk about their choices of research areas, including differentiation in the sixth form, vocational education, and how to stretch gifted and talented students.
