Six children from diverse backgrounds across Britain are brought together on a summer camping trip where they will discover what it means to be British.
Episode one introduces the six children for the first time, with a look at their home town providing an insight into who they feel they are, and the social politics that surrounds them. As they meet each other for the first time, their initial reactions are also shown.
During the series, the six teenagers work with historian and social cohesion expert Dr Nick Barratt on a range of activities designed to help them discover what their nationanl identity means.
