Girls Bullying

January 27, 2014 by Administrator

The problem of girls bullying other girls is explored by experts who give tips on how to identify the symptoms and tackle the causes, in this anti-bullying video for teachers linked with Every Child Matters.

Girls can be more subtle than boys in bullying, using exclusion and verbal weapons rather than fists and fights, so their actions can be more difficult to identify and change.

Discover ways of combating this type of bullying, such as peer mentoring in primary and secondary, and see a creative drama workshop which helps girls explore their role when faced with these incidents in the classroom or playground.

One school shows that by running anti-bullying sessions they've been able to forewarn and forearm girls against the actions of bullies.
