Group Work and Feedback

January 27, 2014 by Administrator

Two classroom teaching and practice experts review the use of group work and feedback in a lesson, discussing which bits worked and where improvements could be made.

Malcolm Reed and Sasha Matthewman, both PGCE tutors at the University of Bristol, watch a lesson from the Teachers TV Uncut Classrooms series showcasing a Year 7 geography lesson based on farming and hedge rows.

Teacher Claire McKenzie is in the spotlight as the experts review the film of her lesson and the interaction between her and her students.

As Malcolm and Sasha dissect her use of group work and feedback, other important issues also come to the fore and they are able to provide advice for all teachers on how to improve their classroom practice.
