How does a school cope when tricky situations are making the headlines? Using drama reconstructions, a team of school leaders are put to the test to find out how they would defuse difficult situations.
Philip O'Hear, who in real life is head of Capital City Academy in north west London, is faced with a pile of disastrous and newsworthy problems, all hypothetical. From errant pupils to alleged inappropriate behaviour by his staff, Philip faces situations based on real incidents experienced by other schools.
As Philip attempts to battle the bad publicity he is helped by a team including a chair of Governors, a teacher with responsibility for media and a Local Authority press officer. But he also faces tough questions from investigative reporter John Draper.
