Prospect Vale Primary School in Stockport uses an appraisal management system not only for teachers but for all school staff, providing support and guidance for all.
The school uses a cascade approach for new CPD initiatives which sees training given to senior management who then pass the knowledge on to subject leaders, and teaching and support staff. The training is also extended to governors, parents and carers.
The programme also shows how the school has introduced Family Learning projects. This offers parents training in topics which are covered in maths and English, and is particularly beneficial to the children with EAL parents.
