This programme follows two teaching assistants as they decide whether becoming a Higher Level Teaching Assistant could be the right career path for them.
They embark on a journey to find out more about what HLTA status means, finding out about the standards they will be required to meet should they decide to take this career option.
They talk to HLTAs to find out what the role's responsibilities are, and attend a Needs Analysis Briefing which goes through the standards thoroughly and explains the preparation and assessment process before they make their decision.
