After careful research, deputy headteacher Graham Aldridge has decided to introduce the International Baccalaureate to Range High School near Liverpool.
The broad range of subjects, an emphasis on independent working and extra-curricular activities have convinced him to introduce the qualification.
Graham returns to Broadgreen High School where the programme has been running for 15 years to speak with headteacher Ian Andain, and to learn more about introducing the programme.
Graham also visits Liverpool University to meet a former IB student and find out how well the diploma equipped him for his degree, before returning to Harrogate Grammar School where he learns about the implementation process.
