At Oakhill Primary School in Stoke-on-Trent, teacher Linda Alliband uses a rainforest theme to help her Year 4 pupils develop their MFL vocabulary.
Her video, Rumble in the Jungle, provides an insight into how the theme has been explored and developed through the use of ICT, introducing pupils' to role play and stop frame animation.
Linda's video is followed by a studio discussion with educational consultant Adrienne Jones, Linda, and her teaching colleagues Stella Clifford-Jones and Fiona Armstrong.
The panel explore the benefits of a creative approach, the response of pupils to learning French and ICT within the same topic, and the use of teacher video for assessment and CPD.
