Teacher Darren Powell has recorded the process of his Year 5 pupils creating a rap on the theme of racism and discrimination.
The class, of Abbey Gates Primary School in Nottingham, also created a breakdance music video for the rap, Stamp it Out, helping explore the different elements surrounding the subject.
Educational consultant Adrienne Jones is joined by Darren Powell, Kate Cumberpatch and Karen Slater-Davison to discuss the impact of this creative approach on learning. They also look at interpersonal skills, understanding, confidence, and attitudes towards racism within the school and the wider community.
