Nick Walker discovered the benefits of Teachers TV with the help of education guru John Bayley.
At first Nick a learning mentor at the City Academy in Bristol, thought Teachers TV had nothing to offer him. But after seeing a programme about behaviour management he changed his mind.
Nick's role is to raise self-esteem and to be the supportive person young people can talk to confidentially about any problems they might have at home or at school.
So a programme presented by Bayley on helping people believe in themselves proved to be of great future benefit in the classroom.
