Pupils at St George's School in Blackpool are designing, packaging and marketing a new chocolate bar. They learn adult skills essential for survival in the modern world, including planning, teamwork and evaluation.
At first, some pupils are reluctant to participate. But once they have been coached in some basic presentation skills, they are eager to stand up in front of their peers.
The senior leadership team are convinced that projects like this improve teaching, learning and results.
