University is no longer just for people from wealthy families, as more students now progress to higher education with help from the Aimhigher initiative.
Aimhigher provides a range of activities to help widen participation in higher education, particularly for people who come from families where there is no tradition of going into higher education.
We hear what Aimhigher means to a variety of young people - from Year 6 pupils getting a taste of university life at the Royal Veterinary College, to a group of Barnsley College students hosting a science fair for Year 10 pupils.
