In this programme, two HLTAs spend a day in each other's school observing and gaining best practice in teaching whole classes.
Caroline Reps and Sarah Thomas are HLTAs who have known each other professionally for years. Both have recently completed the foundation degree for TAs and work in primary schools in Cornwall.
At the end of their observations, Caroline and Sarah have time to reflect on how the day has done and discuss the teaching strategies that work best for them.
In an open and frank discussion with a senior member of staff they talk about the challenges of teaching a class and reveal how children respond to them in their new role.
