Dr Harry Witchel, a senior research fellow at the University of Bristol, measures the unconscious learning taking place in response to a series of stimuli that are either good or bad.
Unconscious learning is the process of learning without necessarily being able to describe what it is that you have learnt. Dr Witchel uses a similar experiment to that used with a lie detector for his tests on unconscious learning.
