Staff at John Cabot City Technology College work with Terence Mauri, a persuasion and influence expert, to maximise the influence of their school meetings.
By analysing a departmental meeting in some detail participants, Terence enables the staff to identify the key factors needed so that each person can influence others.
Terence advises them to have a clear structure and let participants know the priorities of the meeting. He also suggests they create a positive environment for the meeting by sharing any good news right at the beginning, and keep energy levels up with a good diet to aid cognition and fresh air breaks prior to the meeting.
