Teacher Gayle Cordiner presents her video, Sixth Form Tutorial System, which looks at a new personal tutor system introduced for both pastoral and academic support.
The video is part of a unique showcase of videos made by teachers about their work in schools.
Presenter Xanthe Steen is joined in the studio by Gayle, education consultant Adrienne Jones and fellow teacher Catherine Stevenson, to discuss the project which was carried out at Merchiston Castle School in Edinburgh
The panel talk about the key issues of student voice, independent learning, achievement in both academic and pastoral spheres, and the importance of caring for each pupils' individual needs.
