Teacher Michelle Grant, presents her video, The Energy Project, looking at a collaborative project to measure the individual energy use of students and teachers throughout the school week.
The Energy Project is part of a unique showcase of videos made by teachers about their work in schools.
Presenter Xanthe Steen is joined in the studio by Michelle from Charles Edward Brooke School in London, education consultant Adrienne Jones, and fellow teacher Darren Powell, to discuss the contents of the video.
They discuss how the students' creativity and engagement with lessons are affected by their energy levels, and what the consequences are for the timetable and the school day.
The panel also discusses the implications of using a teacher's own video as a tool for recording the student voice, for teacher assessment and CPD.
