This programme takes a detailed look at peer observation in action, with two Year 6 teachers at Hexthorpe Primary School.
Staff at the school believe regular peer observation among colleagues has transformed their teaching practice and allowed them to take control of their own CPD.
We see how an observation is planned and structured and how suitable feedback is provided. Those involved talk about how the process benefits both parties and how they have overcome any initial resistance to the idea through establishing a contract with a prearranged focus before any observation.
Finally the programme takes a look at how all staff play a role in establishing the school's monitoring policy.
