Whitefield Secondary School in north London is a sports college. It has a diverse intake of students, speaking around 70 different languages.
The school sees the encouragement of leadership, self-criticism and constructive criticism of others in all areas of sport as the key to improving academic standards. These skills and attitudes have been successfully transferred to other areas of learning.
